ANTHONY KUSI
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
(he/him)
Hi! Iโm Anthony (he/him). I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted for who you are, without needing to have everything figured out before you show up.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. Iโm a people person at heart, and I believe thereโs room in therapy for laughter, curiosity, and lightness alongside the harder conversations. My goal is to create a space where you can let your guard down, explore your experiences, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
I support people navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, difficult emotions, and life transitions. I recognize that our identities, communities, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and move through the world. I strive to offer an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming space where you can explore these experiences without judgment or pressure to fit into someone elseโs expectations.
My experience supporting children, youth, and families also informs how I approach relationships, communication, and the patterns we carry from earlier in life.
Outside of therapy, youโll find me spending time with family, hitting the gym, or enjoying good company and a good laugh.
My hope is that you feel comfortable showing up as your whole self, not just the parts you think the world is ready to see. You bring your story, and Iโll bring an open mind, a listening ear, and a genuine commitment to walking alongside you.

โฅ I have a cat named Freya, who I truly adore and who very much believes this is her world and I just live in it.
You may see her wander into session when she decides she needs attention.
โฅ I have an undergraduate degree in Criminology and a masterโs in Public Policy, which deeply shape how I think about systems, power, and the contexts we exist within โ not just who you are, but what has shaped you.
โฅ I paint and love creating art. It is something I have been doing for as long as I can remember โ probably since I was about three โ and it continues to be one of the ways I make sense of the world.
โฅ I can swim in open water, which started as a way to face one of my deepest fears, drowning โ or touching something sensory-icky in the water. I still feel that fear, and I do it anyway. It feels like a pretty accurate reflection of how I move through life โ doing things that matter to me while holding fear alongside.
โฅ I am drawn to integrating spirituality and esoteric practices into therapeutic work โ using things like tarot imagery for self-exploration, or supporting the integration of psychedelic experiences in ways that centre meaning-making and harm reduction.
