Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Clinic Co-Director
(they/she/he)
**Accepting new clients for relationship therapy. Waitlist only for individual therapy.
Hey, Iβm Dani (they/she). I work with queer, trans, questioning, and ENM individuals and couples who want therapy that actually feels human - not stiff and not too clinical feeling.
My style is warm, direct, and psychodynamic at the core. Basically, we slow down, look at whatβs really going on underneath your anxiety, shutdowns, relationship patterns, or the ways youβve learned to disconnect from yourself. Iβm curious, honest, and I donβt dance around things youβre clearly struggling with - but Iβll always meet you with compassion while we figure it out.
A lot of my clients are navigating identity, attachment issues, anxiety that hits them physically, trauma, burnout, messy family dynamics, intimacy stuff, or trying to understand what they actually want in their relationships - monogamous or otherwise. If talking about sex, boundaries, or desire feels awkward, overwhelming, or confusing, we can go there at your pace, in a total judgement free zone.
Working with me is straightforward. You donβt have to explain queer sex, ENM dynamics, pronouns, or why you dissociate sometimes. You can show up overwhelmed, numbed out, anxious, avoidant, or totally unsure where to start. Iβll meet you where youβre at, and weβll figure things out together - no pressure, no performance, no pretending.
We May Be A Fit Ifβ¦
Youβre someone whoβ¦
β₯ Is questioning or negotiating gender, sexuality, desire, or identity, whether thatβs newly emerging or something youβve been carrying for a long time. You want space to talk about sex, bodies, power, and attachment without it being awkward, pathologized, or rushed.
β₯ Is in or considering non-traditional relationship structures (monogamy, ENM, polyamory, or βI donβt know yetβ) and wants support that doesnβt default to assumptions about whatβs healthy, normal, or supposed to happen next
β₯ Notices anxiety, panic, shutdown, dissociation, or emotional intensity and wants to understand what your nervous system is actually doing, not just learn how to push it down or power through
β₯ Is holding trauma, religious or cultural harm, burnout, or grief, and wants a therapist who can sit with complexity, contradiction, and anger as much as softness
β₯ Wants queer-, trans-, and sex-affirming therapy where you donβt have to translate your pronouns, dynamics, kinks, boundaries, or relational choices in order to feel understood

Get To Know Dani
β₯ I love rock climbing and tend to gravitate toward things that are physical, challenging, and just unconventional enough to keep me interested
β₯ I played in a band that toured with Vans Warped Tour, which still shapes how I think about music, creativity, and what it means to build community around shared intensity
β₯ I played roller derby in a leopard-print bathing suit, which is honestly a pretty accurate summary of my relationship with confidence, embodiment, and doing things on my own terms
β₯ I have an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, which deeply influences how I think about systems, power, harm, and who gets protected and who doesnβt
β₯ I also have a cat named Dave, who is central to my daily routine and fully believes this is his household. Heβs probably right.
